Job Description
- Perform analysis of accounts receivable data and understand the reasons for underpayment, days in A/R, top denial reasons.
- Interpret explanation of benefits received etc prior to making the call.
- Make outbound calls to insurance companies in the U.S.
- Follow up on outstanding claims and check claim statuses.
- Identify reasons for denials or rejections.
- Initiate appeals and reprocess claims when needed.
- Document actions taken on claims clearly and accurately.
- Meet daily/weekly productivity and quality goals.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Any graduate (BSc, BCom, BBA, BA,BCA etc.); medical or life science background is a plus.
- Good spoken English (neutral or US accent preferred).
- Basic knowledge of medical billing is helpful but not mandatory.
- Willingness to work night shifts (US timings)
